Present PastReumont site has been occupied for about 2000 years. Excavations brought remnants of a Roman villa which showed it to be, at that time already, a domain dedicated to agriculture. Reumont farm belonged to the Abbey of Malonne from the VIIth century to 1790. It was then part of the five smallholdings entrusted by Pépin de Herstal to Berthuin, an Anglo-Saxon monk around whom the hamlet people were gathered, living on the generosity of neighbouring lords. The main farm building and the barn date back to the XVIth century. Stables are more recent (1632). In 1680, the Lord of Malonne had his coat of arms cast in the living room chimney.
